Kiwis

 A kiwi is bird.  It has wings but can’t fly.  It is special to us because there aren’t many left.

A kiwi has a long yellow beak to eat worms under the ground.  It has brown thick feathers.  It has tiny little wings that can’t fly.

A kiwi lives in New Zealand in the bushes and in burrows.  Kiwis dig burrows and cover the entrance so their enemies can’t get in.

A kiwi lays a big egg.  It sleeps at day and comes out at night to catch food.

Japanese Visitors

"Konnichiwa" we said.  Yesterday we had some pretty Japanese visitors.  They gave us some delicious lollies.  We read some books to them.  The book I read to them is "My Little Sister Doris".  She liked the book.They did a dance for us.

"Yay" we said.  "It's Friday.  We get to hop in the dragon today".
On Friday we had a parade.  Our dragon looked like a crocodile.  It had a beautiful tail.  It had cool sides because it had bottle tops on it.  It had sharp teeth.  It was cool!

Why I like Space 5

I like Space Five because we play fruit salad.  I like Space Five’s computer because I am an expert at computer work.  I like writing in Space Five because I write long stories.  To make Space Five better we can be caring and we can be Cool Caring Kawaha kids.  We can work quietly and not swear.
